Sparkly Noël

Hello!

I’m usually not a “sketch” kind of girl. I honestly struggle to follow a sketch, but when I saw the creations of the other “Poulettes”, I had to give it a try.

Of course, I did not follow the sketch exactly, but you can still recognise it, right? right???

Too bad I didn’t have any beautiful Gold Soirée DSP from SU, it would have been great… I had to find a way to “fake” some, so I made the golden stripes by hand, with a ruler and a gel pen… 😉

I like how intricate this Noël die from Wonderful Wreath is… The “Joyeux” is from another set, “Cottage Greetings”. The little star-flowers are from Wonderful wreath too, I think it goes very well with the Petite Petals punch, doesn’t it?

Sweet Friend

Hi there!

I had a little time yesterday evening to make a card… I hope I’ll soon have more time to craft, I really miss it!

I wanted to play along with the Colour Me…! challenge, even though it pushed me out of my comfort zone. Calypso Coral is a colour I like, but don’t use very often, so I thought this would be interesting 🙂

Here is my card :

 

I used a retired set from Stampin’Up, You Are Loved, and indeed I love it. I stamped the flower three times in gold with a Stamp-a-ma-jig to make a kind of rose bush and then again in Calypso Coral. I fussy cut the flowers and adhered them on the gold ones with foam tape to add extra dimension.

The gold flowers are also addhered with foam tape on a tag I hand made on Very Vanilla Cardstock. I just rounded the corner with a punch, made a hole on top and added faux-stitching with a gold gel pen. The ribbons are from my stash.

The sentiment comes from the same set, I stamped it on a fish tail banner I hand cut. I added pearls coloured with alcohol markers to fit the colour scheme.
