The card I’m showing today is one I made for my little niece, Clémence. She was born 10 days before our son 🙂
I wanted something sweet and shiny at the same time… so soft colours and glitter it is!
This card came almost by accident, as I mixed various left over pieces that were sitting on my desk. The grey background is actually coloured with alcohol markers, and the white circle with the “Baby” die-cut was a scrap from another card. The vellum scalloped circle surrounds nicely the white one, without being too overwhelming. Some silver glitter paper was adhered behind the white circle, with foam adhesive for a bit of dimension.
The butterfly from Watercolor Wings is stamped in Blushing Bride, in a monochromatic way. I like the soft effect it gives 🙂 I added some glitter glue on the wings, and also on the roses of the Floral Wings stamp set. I fussy cut the butterfly and the roses, can’t wait to receive the matching framelits I ordered!
Last I added three adhesive pearls for even more shininess. A very girly baby card, don’t you think? 😉
